In 1999, in what has become a tradition, the SFHS Class of '89 Reunion Planning Committee awarded their first scholarship check to the SFHS Music Department in honor of their 10 Year Reunion.

This year, the Committee presented the San Fernando High School Mariachi with a scholarship check of $300.00 in honor of their 20 Year Reunion.
